Serra d'Ossa Boardwalks

1.7km of wooden boardwalks connecting Aldeia da Serra to the Hermitage of Nossa Senhora do Monte da Virgem. Crosses a verdant valley with centuries-old orchards and schist rock faces — a completely different side of the Alentejo. Low difficulty, ideal for all.

Chapel of Bones

One of the most singular experiences in southern Portugal. Built in the 17th century by a Franciscan friar as a memento mori, the walls and columns of this small chapel are lined with the bones and skulls of over 5,000 people. The inscription at the entrance says it all: "We bones that are here, await yours."

Marvão Castle

The "Eagle's Nest". Perched at 843 metres above a granite cliff, Marvão Castle is considered the best-preserved castle in Portugal. Its strategic position on the Spanish border earned it centuries of disputes between Portuguese, Castilians and Moors. The 360° panoramic views are breathtaking.

Juromenha Fortress

The "Sentinel of the Guadiana". This powerful 17th-century polygonal fortress rises above the River Guadiana on the Spanish border, with roots going back to Roman and Islamic times. Estremoz Castle

Estremoz Castle dominates the city from the highest hill in the region. Built in the 13th century by order of D. Afonso III, it was the favourite residence of D. Dinis and Queen Saint Isabel, who died here in 1336. The 27-metre Keep Tower, the Church of Santa Maria with medieval frescoes and the Municipal Museum occupy the walled enclosure.

Estremoz Clay Figures

The Estremoz Clay Figures are hand-painted clay figurines representing characters from Alentejo life, popular saints and Portuguese court figures. Produced in Estremoz since the 17th century using local clay and marble, they were inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2017.

O projeto Glamping Skies representa a inovação no turismo, conjugando tradições e modernidade. É um parque campismo de Domes, unidades turísticas com capacidade para 2 pessoas, onde as funcionalidades de um hotel de 4 estrelas se associam à comunhão com a natureza, através de uma estrutura única.
