Proposals Under the Stars
Some of the most memorable moments here did not begin with us. They began with a message from someone dreaming of the right place to ask the most important question of their life, under the open sky of the Alentejo. These are two of them.
A Marriage Proposal by the Pool
A guest from London wrote to us with a single wish: to propose somewhere that truly meant something. Their story as a couple had always been tied to the stars, and he was looking for a place to ask the question beneath an open sky, with nothing between them and the night.
We suggested the pool, and shared a few ideas of how the setting could look. He said yes at once, and then asked us to help shape the whole stay around the moment. That is the part we love most. We chose and reserved the restaurant for the dinner beforehand, stayed close through every detail he wanted to change, and coordinated everything down to flight times and arrival, giving the same care to the setting itself.
That night, under the Alentejo stars, he asked. She said yes.
The next morning they came to find us to say thank you. What they told us has stayed with us since: that from that day, we had become part of their story.
A Starlit Proposal in the Dome
Another guest found us while searching for somewhere unique to propose under the stars, and he knew what he wanted: something intimate, just for the two of them, inside the geodesic dome. We suggested candlelight throughout the room, champagne, strawberries and chocolates; he asked for rose petals too, and trusted us with the rest.
The proposal was only the beginning. Over the following weeks we designed the whole trip around them: a wine tasting, a stargazing session at the Dark Sky Alqueva, dinner in the medieval village of Monsaraz. As they preferred not to drive, we arranged a private driver for every transfer and for the full two-day programme, a personal concierge from the moment they arrived to the moment they left.
Inside the dome, in candlelight and beneath the sky, he asked. She said yes.
The following day they thanked us with words almost identical to another couple that same month: that we had become part of their life, and their story. Two proposals, weeks apart, from people who trusted us to hold one of the most important moments of their lives.

A 110m² Dome by the Pool
Our event dome spans 110m² on the pool terrace, a versatile space that transforms to suit your celebration. Al fresco dining around the pool, a ceremony under the stars, or a party with the dome as bar and chill-out area.
With capacity for up to 16 guests in the Glamping Skies domes, and for larger groups, we have a partnership with a hotel 500 metres away with 6 additional rooms.
